DESCRIPTION   

Arboricide: the act of killing trees. The natural habitat of these magnificent butterflies in Southeast Asia is disappearing at an alarming rate. This is due to aggressive clearing of rain forests to make room for palm oil plantations.

MATERIALS

Emerald green bird-wing butterflies (Ornithoptera priamus poseidon), circular saw blades, black-sand grounds.
